Neil is a Sculptor and the owner of Art Hive.

Education:

– Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Fine Arts- Nelson Mandela University

– Master of Technology (MTech) in Fine Arts, specializing in Sculpting- Nelson Mandela University

Experience:

Neil Bacon is an accomplished sculptor with a deep passion for shaping and transforming materials into works of art. Over the years, he has developed a unique style that reflects both his technical skills and creative vision.

In addition to his artistic practice, Neil has shared his expertise for several years as a lecturers’ assistant and he was also running the forge at Nelson Mandela University (South Africa) for two years.

Exhibitions:

Neil has participated in numerous exhibitions showcasing his talent and earning recognition in the art community. His work, often inspired by nature and cultural themes, has been celebrated for its depth and originality.

A New Chapter in Greece:

Neil’s journey took a beautiful turn when he fell in love with his wife, bringing him to Greece. Now, he is eager to build a vibrant new art community here, combining his passion for sculpture with his desire to create and connect with fellow artists in his new home.

Neil Bacon continues to push the boundaries of sculpture, always seeking new ways to express his ideas through his chosen medium while fostering creativity and &collaboration in the Greek art scene.

In Art Hive he has his lab in the basement and he hosts sculpting and other Workshops in the ground floor. He is inviting you to host yours!

In this e- shop area you will find some of his illustrations, small objects or lino printings that he is making in his quiet moments.
